Sometimes Tears Are Welcome

I have not created a post in some time. When I began this blog I intended to post at least once a week, and that is still my intention. However, I think we all know what strength intentions truly have.

It is my goal to catch everyone up on what my life has been up to. For now, however, I want to share something that excites me.

I am not terribly tech-savvy, but I recently signed up for an account with Hit Record. It is a place created by Joseph Gordon Levitt and his brother, in which you can share and collaborate your personal creative outlets, and for me that is mostly writing.

Tonight I saw a writing prompt with a provided picture. I had no idea what I would write, but used a free moment to write a short story.

In writing this story I cried, emotions welling up inside of me that I did not know I had. That is why I love writing. I love that in writing we are reminded of who we truly are, and are able to get to know ourselves again. It is powerful, and allows you to release a bit of your spirit, sharing it with others.

I will try to share that story here, sharing a bit of my spirit with you. I hope you enjoy!

Here is the link for those interested in the story:

I am a lover of stories, addicted to reading and writing. I love to draw and paint, sew and work on projects. My greatest moments are spent escaping into the little adventures of life. I love little adventures!
